Congratulations to the California recipients of the 2024 ICMA Local Government Excellence Awards

The City of Monrovia in the Community Equity and Inclusion Award category for their program of Inclusive Park Planning & Design; the City of Costa Mesa in the Community Sustainability Award category for their Modernizing One-Step at a Time: Costa Mesa’s Phased Residential Parking Permit Program; and Brian D. Mohan in the Professional Excellence Award category for the Assistant Excellence in Leadership Award in Memory of Buford M. Watson Jr. These awards recognize influential contributions to local government management and demonstrate how the profession enhances the quality of life in our cities, towns, and counties.
