Congratulations to the 2025 Cal-ICMA Denver LGRC Scholarship Recipients!

Cal-ICMA awards scholarships to a select few outstanding individuals from diverse communities and are aspiring to develop and grow in local government leadership. These scholarships provide an invaluable opportunity for recipients to participate in conferences held by ICMA. Recently, the Cal-ICMA Scholarships and Events Committee selected four individuals to be awarded scholarships to attend the 2025 ICMA Denver Local Government Reimagined Conference:

- Julie Tamayo, Senior Administrative Assistant/Deputy City Clerk, City of Orinda

- Alejandro Castillo, Doctor of Public Administration Candidate, California Baptist University

- Donesia Gause, City Clerk, City of Riverside

- Jamie Achterberg, Assistant to the City Manager, City of Bakersfield
